Everyone has animal spirit guides. Animals will cross your path in physical form, in dreams, or in digital form (such as TV, movies, or social media/internet). Animals bring us messages as we move forward in life and when we are stuck in a situation.
Our thoughts are constantly being sent out into the universe to create our reality or to give us the answers we seek. This is when animal spirit guides will come to us. Insects are also included in this group because they serve as messengers as well.
I have several animal/insect spirit guides whom follow me everyday with messages or just to let me know that they are with me on my journey. My guides are the butterfly, dragonfly, crow, sparrow and bees. I would like to share my own animal/insect spirite guides with you and other animal guides that we see in our daily life in all forms.
Crow:
Stands for power, intelligence, creativity, courage, flexibility, brood-mindedness, and mystery. They tell you that you can be intuitive, manipulative, honest, adaptable, and strong willed. Use your inner wisdom to find inner truth. Use your intuition. If you see a crow in your dream, it is signals about life, death, or sudden changes that trigger to use wisdom. Death can also mean the death a cycle or a way of thinking/habit.
Butterfly:
Symbolizes transformation, metamorphosis, and transition into a new phase like a caterpillar becomes the butterfly. You are in tune with ancient wisdom of ancestors/angels. I believe that each butterfly signifies something different. Monarch (orange) means new life or new cyle. Blue means your protected. Black means death of old way or cycle. In dreams the butterfly means freedom and a change is coming in your life.
Dragonfly:
Stands for immortality, speed, change, good luck, adaptability, and fertility. They tell you that you are wise, mature, and believe in living life to the fullest. You are a free spirit and focus on the solution ensuring positive results in all situations. In dreams, they symbolize regeneration or indicate instability and restlessness.
Sparrow:
Stands for protection, productivity, joy, simplicity, unity, and friendliness. They tell you that you are fearless, confident, responsible, and easy going. In dreams, they mirror your tendency to worry and the possibility that it may harm your health.
Blue Jay:
Stands for our time to to discover our true self. You want passion in life. They are a messenger of clarity and strength. They tell you that you need to stand up for yourself and you need to be bold enough to communicate your truth. If they visit you out of the blue, it has a special meaning. Think back what you were thinking about and the message will come to you. Be your true self. In dreams the meaning is very similar to the meaning in the physical.
Coyote:
Stands for adaptability, rebirth, enthusiasm, ingenuity, protection and inner healing. You are quick witted, captivating, honest, adaptable, and loyal. You focus on on finding joy in all things. You may need strength to face reality. In dreams they may either suggest deception, weakness, severe illness, or indicate spiritual shift.
Possum:
Stands for protection, mothering instincts, wilderness. justification, unpredictability, and adaptability. They tell you that you are brave, adjusting,, and sensible. It’s time to be still and wait for danger to pass. In dreams they may either reflect your prominent trait of prudence or signal future event of some kind.
Racoon:
Stands for playfulness, protection, courage, generosity, intelligence and adaptabilty. They tell you that you are courageous, adventurous, calm, and enigmatic. They show up when you have doubt to let you know you have resources available. Showing you there is deception in your life - someone is wearing a false mask. In dreams they unfold to show your unfaithful side or hint at someone deceptive in your life.
Skunk:
Stands for non-violence, wisdom, patience, silence, valor, and self respect. They tell you that you are calm., collected, assertive, charismatic, and self confident. In dreams it generally points at your distaste to express your true intentions.
Rat:
Stands for abundance, success, adaptability, kindness, fertility, creativity, foresight, and intelligence. They tell you that you are brave, social, honest, adventurous, mentally alert yet reckless. Time to get motivated - get moving. In dreams they may either signal the presence of a traitor in your life or point towards your own unethical nature.
Bees:
Stands for hard work, sucess, wealth, love, wisdom, chastity, and fertility. They are telling you that you are self less, friendly, believe in teamwork, and peaceful coexistence. In dreams they represent social skills or active lifestyle - busy as a bee. Trust in miracles.
Fox:
Stands for mischief, opportunity, playfulness, agility, cleverness, or wisdom. They are telling you that you are analytical, observant, creative, and loyal. Sign to tap into your psychic abilities. In dreams they may warn you about the arrival of someone sneaky in your life.
