When I moved to CA, I discovered very quickly that the way of life was completely different. The east coast is fast paced and everything needed to happen yesterday. In CA people are more laid back and the pace is slower. The weather is beautiful here year round so I think that plays a big part in it too :)
After a few years, I embraced the CA way of life and my life became easier. Once I discovered the law of attraction and made that a part of my daily life, I no longer was irritated by every little thing. I had a newfound appreciation of people and my surroundings. I accepted people for who they were and understood it was okay if someone did not take my advice.
The one thing I struggled with was how my mood changed when I was around certain people. I would be sitting at my desk at work happy as a clam doing my work. Then all of a sudden someone with negative energy comes by and *POOF* I am in a bad mood. I tried to rectify this by reciting daily affirmations multiple times throughout the day. Unfortunately, my daily affirmations could not fix this. I started looking online for alternatives because I couldn’t lock myself in my apartment 24/7. I needed to live my life and go out in public.
I started reading up on crystals and what the purpose of each one is for. I came to understand that I am empath. For those who do not know what an empath , here is the definition: an empath is a person with the paranormal ability to apprehend the mental or emotional state of another individual. It all made sense on why my mood would drastically change for no reason. I would also feel drained after being around certain people who are called energy vampires. I learned that I needed to ground myself when I was around people so I would not pick up their energy. I started carrying black tourmaline with me and felt an instant shift. I could be around negative/toxic people and not take their energy with me. When I was around an energy vampire I would be able to resist being drained. It was an amazing feeling. I felt like a brand new person.
I continued reading up on crystals and realized they could be used for anything. I could use them to manifest my desires when setting my intentions on the new moon and what I need to release at the full moon for each month. They were a good tool to use with meditation. I started keeping them in cute little dishes in my bedroom and on my work desk. I learned the best places to purchase them online and in person in order to avoid buying fake crystals.
In the next section, I am going to list the crystals that I personally use and what purpose I use them for as a guideline:
Black Tourmaline: Helps with grounding my energy when I’m around negative/toxic people or environments.
Hematite: Helps with grounding and getting rid of bad habits.
Rose Quartz: Setting my intentions in love, healing the heart chakra, & maintaining my self love.
Lapis Lazuli: Helps bring out my divine feminine energy.
Amethyst: Calms me and helps me sleep at night.
Citrine: Boosts my energy with creativity and use it to balance some of the chakras (lower 3 & third eye).
Clear Quartz:: I use it for everything. Its a multi purpose crystal so putting it with other crystals helps enhance the energy.
Smoky Quartz: Clearing stress from my body.
Clear Selenite: I use it when I meditate to connect with my twin flame in the 5D. It grounds me and helps me release any pain I have inside me.
Moonstone: Setting new intentions on new moon and what I need to release on full moon. I usually add clear quartz.
Those are a few of of my favorite crystals. I do own many more beautiful stones that have not been mentioned. As I ascend I will change it up and start using other stones. When I do, I will post a part 2 to this post to share the new group I feel called to use.
Lastly I would like to recommend places where you can purchase crystals that are real and authentic. The best places to buy are metaphysical shops. To go into the store in person feels amazing. You can pick up each stone and the one that is meant for you will tell you. For me they get warm in my hand.
If you do want to buy online, you can do that but go to a site that is trusted. I recommend The Sage Goddess.
